The Coagulation section of the Laboratory Department is responsible for evaluating the blood’s ability to clot & helping diagnose bleeding & thrombotic disorders. This department performs a range of specialized tests, including Prothrombin Time (PT), Activated partial Thromboplastin Time (APTT), International normalized ratio (INR), D-dimer & fibrinogen assays. These jteste are essential for monitoring anticoagulant therapy, assessing liver function & detecting clotting factor deficiencies. Using mordern analyzers & strict quality control measures, The Coagulation laboratory ensures accurate, reliable & timely results to support effective patient diagnosis & treatment.
