ICT for Kala-Azar IgG / Leishmaniasis is a rapid diagnostic blood test that detects IgG antibodies against Leishmania parasites, which cause visceral leishmaniasis (Kala-Azar). This test helps support the diagnosis of Kala-Azar, a parasitic disease that may cause prolonged fever, weight loss, anemia, and enlargement of the spleen and liver. Results should be interpreted alongside clinical symptoms and other diagnostic findings, as a positive result does not always indicate an active infection.
